ESCAPE VROOMS
This is a pioneering concept that SiliconHagen has developed together with the Greenland High Schools (GUX) and Tusass (formerly known as Tele Greenland). This partnership has been able to push the boundaries for what can be achieved in using VR in STEM education. Both teachers and students have been involved in using and adapting the escape room concept for a new generation of immersive chemistry education
VR in Vocational Education
Since 2019, SiliconHagen has been developing groundbreaking solutions for vocational education and training. Our main collaborating partner has been the Danish Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Building and Construction. Neuro VRehabilitation
SiliconHagen’s Head of Immersive Rehabilitation has 30 years of experience as an occupational therapist working with neuro rehabilitation. SiliconHagen is transferring these skills and experiences into a collection of VR applications. Our first product is a multi-layered immersive VR rehabilitation solution based on Forest Bathing.
Policy and campaigning
Virtual World Building
SiliconHagen has produced virtual worlds with multipurpose objectives: awareness raising, campaigning, influencing policy making, education, training and marketing. Recent examples include:
A polluted beach used at the European Commission SME Assembly workshop supporting the EU Mission for Cleaner Ocean and Waters. Our virtual world brought in online participants that collaborated in interactive exercises that explored the impact of polluted waters. The virtual world bridged with the physical workshop held at the Assembly.
A replication of the Wildlife Forensic Academy’s physical education facility in South Africa with enhanced immersive qualities that allows users to be instigators with super powers allowing for micro forensic work at wildlife crime scenes.
Workshop and conference facilities that can be used by partners for immersive conferences, exhibitions and workshops.
Defence
SiliconHagen is a certified NATO Modeling and Simulation Integration Specialist. Alongside this, we are part of UK Ministry of Defence supported R&D programmes with groups of suppliers collaborating to provide generation-after-next solutions for synthetic and simulated environments.
